Spring Look Book | Dress for Less

Bloom baby, Bloom!

Happy spring everyone! I love spring so much because of the flowy, fun, and bright fashion. Now’s a great time to add a little extra spice to your wardrobe. I took a look around certain fashion/editorial websites and even collected some ideas of my own and came up with some popular, affordable spring looks!

I did link the url to each clothing piece. All you have to do is click on the one you’re looking for with the description below!

Old Blue Jeans

There’s something about overalls. They’re coming back into style and I am all over it! I’ve seen a lot of people rock looks just like this one and it is such a playful, “girl next door” look.

Sweet and Flowy

I’m 100% a girl who lives for dresses. I like to be able to wear them anywhere regardless of the occasion! Spring is the perfect time to try a dress color you’ve never worn, or even a new open style! Try off the shoulder, open back, or even a halter top. These dresses are perfect for a wedding, girl’s night out, or even a date night! (Even though I don’t go on those. Boys are gross.)

Neon Wonders

Talk about stepping out the box! There’s a neon color for everyone and every skin tone. It can truly being a glow to your skin, or even make you appear more tanned if you’re fair skinned! Neon colors make everything fun, and festive and I plan on adding this to my wardrobe. I can’t wait!

I LOVE these pants! As a long legged gal, these pants help me look like an elegant giraffe. Especially when they’re high waisted, it creates an illusion that your legs are longer than they appear! These pants are flowy, comfy, and an absolute must have for the next few months.

Toss your Tassel

If you ask me, tassels are supercuts and look great with just about any piece of clothing! I love all of these pieces. Especially the white dress in the photo above. You’ll look like a human party pack everywhere you go!

This is about as edgy as my look gets. A little choker, and a graphic tee. I love this outfit! If there’s one thing I learned from buying Converse, is that they go with Everything!

The Girl Next Door

Dress: Marshalls

Shoes: Traffic

Purse: Target

Fur Key Chain: Rue 21

Every now and then, a girl should wear dress! Some more often than others, but it’ll help you get through the day a little easier when you’re dressed for success!

Stars and Stripes

Pretty in Pink

Shirt: Ross

Shorts : Marshalls

Sandals: Traffic

Book bag: Forever 21

This outfit will always have a special place in my heart because it’s what I wore when I took  my first photo with a giraffe! (Let me have my moment.) The shorts remind me of a Lily print, so I had to pick them up!

Neutral Love

Flats: Traffic

I always feel productive when I wear flats, I don’t know why! A little business casual never hurt nobody.

The girl in the floral pants

A blush of Pink

Shirt: Thrift Store

I love the blush pink color of these pants. Putting your hair in a ponytail when a shirt comes up a little higher to the neck makes for a sophisticated yet playful look!

A flowy boho top with ripped jeans, and boots. Perfect for when it’s a little windy outside!

Overalls in Red

I always get so many compliments on this little ensemble. Great for summer when you’re going to theme parks, or even a lazy Sunday to run errands. Sandals or Converse look great with this!

Wild for Elephants

Shirt: Forever 21

Pants: Forever 21

Glasses: Forever 21

Ahh, my favorite color: Black! Love my elephant outfit. Flowy pants and a cropped off the shoulder top make the perfect look!

The watch I had on in all the photos is from Liz Claiborne, and the bracelets are Alex and Ani bangles from friends and family. I get most, if not all of my inspiration from my Pinterest boards! I have Style Guides for: Winter, Summer, Night Outs, and Every Day wear. Check it out!

Tailgate Fashion: What I wore to a college football game!

I’m not sure why it took so long, but here is my first fashion post! There’s nothing better than college football, and I was so excited for the season to start. After a quick trip to Walmart and Claire’s, I put together an outfit that was just right for this weeks game.

Even though fall and winter don’t really exist in Florida, I can’t wait to start wearing boots and sweaters to football games! I’ll be patient until then and I’ll keep wearing shorts and tank tops! *sad face.*

Here’s what I wore to the game this past weekend: A UCF Jersey (a quick steal from Walmart – I did good, huh!), along with a pair of distressed black shorts that I bought from Aeropostale over the summer, a black choker, and a pair of sunglasses.

img_4578 I matched with one of my new friends I recently met in one of my classes: Karina! Our jerseys fit well, but not too tight. We wanted to be able to throw these jerseys on all four years of college so we got them a little bigger than normal! Most Walmart’s near a college town have collegiate gear, so we grabbed one the Jerseys. It was $24.00, and totally worth it!

Matching outfits!

We tried (and failed miserably) to take cute fun pictures with each other but, picking me up didn’t work. So eventually, we decided to just take normal photos in our outfits.

High School Reunion!

It’s only been about two months since I’ve seen my friends from high school who came to visit  for my birthday. So of course, we had to get them in the UCF spirit and brought them out to tailgate with us! For the most part, all of of our outfits can be recreated and can be found just about at any regular store you would see at any of your favorite stores! (Anybody else notice the bean bag flying mid-air in the background?!)

My roommate and her cousin are always wearing the cutest clothes! (Perks of being a girl, because we always raid each other’s closets when we need something to wear.) My choker is from Claire’s, sunglasses are from Forever 21, and my shoes are from a store called Traffic!

For my first tailgate outfit, I don’t think I did too bad! More fashion posts to come. At least I got the first one out of the way. Let’s see how long I’ll be wearing shorts to football games this fall.

Go Knights!
